Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Cross County Court Docket handles information connected with a visit. The site is a private reference resource, not an Arkansas court or records office. It does not maintain Cross County case files. Visitor information is kept separate from the official court records held by the Circuit Clerk, County & Probate Clerk, District Court, city courts, and Arkansas Judiciary.

Data You Give Us Directly

Information is collected when a visitor intentionally supplies it, such as through a communication or another interactive feature that clearly asks for details. That material may include a name, email address, and the text submitted. Do not send Social Security numbers, financial account data, sealed-case information, or other sensitive identifiers. Cross County's official Circuit Clerk contact form gives the same practical warning about ordinary electronic messages.

Data We Gather Automatically

Standard technical records may be created when a browser loads the site. These can include an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, approximate region, and time of access. Cookies or similar storage may remember preferences, measure traffic, limit abuse, and support advertising. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, though some functions may then work differently.

What We Do With This Data

Collected data may be used to operate and secure the site, understand which resources are useful, diagnose errors, prevent misuse, meet legal duties, and support sponsored services. It may also help improve navigation among Cross County court topics. Visitor data is not used to alter any official docket, and the site has no access that would allow such a change.

No Court-Record Data on File

Cross County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of personal Cross County case records. Its content explains public routes to Search ARCourts and the clerks that keep original records. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and does not assemble visitor information into consumer reports about other people.

Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order No. 19 governs public access, confidentiality, and remote access for court records held by Arkansas courts. It does not make this private website the custodian of those records.

Third-Party Search Partners

Sponsored search tools are run by outside companies under their own privacy policies and terms. Information entered into a partner's form goes to that partner, not to a Cross County clerk through this site. Review the provider's disclosures before submitting data or accepting a paid service. A partner result should still be verified with the court or clerk that maintains the original record.

Links to Other Websites

Links may lead to Cross County offices, Arkansas Judiciary portals, statutes, courts, and outside search providers. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination controls its own collection and security practices. Cross County Court Docket cannot manage those practices. Read the destination's privacy terms before sharing personal information.

Who Might See Your Data

Service providers may process limited information needed for hosting, analytics, security, advertising, or technical support. Data may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or system safety, during a business transfer, or with the visitor's consent. Information is not shared with a court merely because a person reads a Cross County docket resource here.

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed secure. Keep sensitive details out of ordinary messages and sponsored forms. Official filings, sealed-record requests, and case-specific submissions belong in the secure channel designated by the responsible Arkansas court or clerk.

Users Under 18

The site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 18. It does not knowingly seek personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied personal data may use the available site contact route to request review or deletion, subject to legal retention needs.

Your Data Rights

A visitor may ask about personal data supplied directly to this private site and, where applicable, request access, correction, or deletion. The request may need enough information to verify identity and locate the submission. Some information can be retained for security, legal compliance, or recordkeeping.

The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. ยงยง 25-19-101 through 25-19-111, concerns public records held by government custodians. Cross County also publishes a separate county FOIA request route for county administrative records. Neither route creates a right to obtain private-site analytics from Cross County Court Docket. Court-file access is separately controlled by Administrative Order No. 19.

Updates to This Policy

This policy may change when site practices, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to later activity.

Effective date: August 14, 2026
